58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2013

Amrita Rao brought a new designer name to the Filmfare red carpet. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good way to do it. The frumpy dress, the odd floral applique, the matador-esque jacket and the overdone make-up- everything was a NO1 The jacket and dress idea could've done wonders if done rightly. Keywoword: RIGHTLY

Anushka was in high neck, low back Victoria Beckham. She styled it with dramatic eye liner stroje, red lips and bouffant updo Love the whole look- the do, the canary color and the make up. Gorgeous!

Ranveer kept it classic with a black suit with white shirt and skinny tie. He looked good, minus the   mustache and beard.

Ranveer Singh

The ever elegant Dia Mirza opted for a white Gaurav Gupta anarkali, Absolutely love it on her, especially the styling with gold clutch and drop earrings.

Chitrangada impressed in a Anand Kabra saree. Love the saree, love the hair, love the jewelry, just a little problem with the overload of eye make-up. Otherwise, love love love.

Deepika was the attention grabber of the night in a peek-a-boo Prabal Gurung dress. What made it even hotter was the front slit. She finished it off with a high ponytail and vermillion lips.

Ileana did the flapper look in Cavalli. While I wish she went with a 20's do and make-up as well, she looked good nevertheless.

Ileana D'Cruz in Roberto Cavalli

Neha barely fail on the fashion front, but this unfortunately was a fail. While the gown was very basic Victoria Beckham, the hair accessory ruined the look.

Raveena picked a garish black and green saree. The work looked very outdated and the hair and make-up didn't help either. Hope she bring it back soon.

Raveena Tandon

Priyanka was in Armani for the event. Love the color, but flashed by the cameras, the fabric looked cheap and overly lustered. However, the styling was nice with side swept hair and deep berry lips, and a pair of drop earrings.

Siddharth was in a classic fitted black tie essential, a black tux. He looked dapper!

Siddharth Malhotra

Arjun also kept it classic in a black tux. This look could've been bette if only the tux was fitted more perfectly at the waist. Maybe he should take pointers from Siddharth Malhotra.

Arjun Kapoor

Sonal was in a black Annu and Amrit dress, which reminds me of a Gaurav Gupta design worn by by Deepika Padukone at a GQ event. Nevertheless, she looked beautiful, styled with a pair of studs, a sleek updo and red lips.

Tanisha had a style improvement with a Payal Singhal. Maybe her sister's stylist have started working on her too.

Newlyweds Siddhart Roy Kapur and Vidya Balan. Vidya was again in Sabyasachi. Never a fan of checkered saree. She look good neck up though.

Yami chose a lehenga inspired look from Tarun Tahiliani< While the top was nice, wasn't too crazy about the skirt part. Her jewelry, hair and make-up was lovely though.

Madhuri wowed in a navy Alberto Makali gown. She was a class apart. Only thing was that her hair looked outdated.

Shruti was in a corseted Rakesh Agarwal gown. While the gown and hair were perfect, she went a bit too far with her  and perhaps a deep berry lips would go better with the dress.

Alia looked uncomfortable in her Manish Malhotra lehenga. While the color of the ensemble is gorgeous but the design seemed to heavy for the petite actress. And on top of it, her breasts seemed squeezed in her blouse.

Alia Bhatt in Manish Malhotra

A wrinkled dress is simply a NO at the red carpet. Parineeti was in a black Rajat Tangri dress. Unfortunately, it was wrinkled up and the design wasn't enough to save the look either. She complete it with side swept hair an red lips.

Huma found herself in a not-so-flattering Varun Bahl gown. The most intolerable part was the red embroidery at the cuff. She looked good neck-up though.

Seems like they didn't just share a debut but also sense of style. A look-alike of a maroon velvet jacket Siddharth Malhotra was seen in at the Marrakech Film Festival was seen on Varun Dhawan at the Filmfare. He carried it off well.

A plunging neckline orange Alberta Ferretti gown had Sridevi looking like a vision. She was styled with oversized clutch, a ring and a cuff, and the cutest Judith Leiber gift box minaudiere.

Shahana was in an all black Sabyasachi lehenga saree. More than the outfit, I'm loving the hair. She finished it out with gold earrings and ring and a touch of red lips.

Shahana Goswami in Sabyasachi

Rabir was dapper in a three piece suit. What made it stand out was the chain link of the jacket. Cool, classy and stylish!

Ranbir Kapoor

Aditi was in Gaurav Gupta. Although she looked sweet, this is possibly the least impressed I've been with a Gaurav Gupta design on the red carpet.

Aditi Rao Hydari in Gaurav Gupta

Minnisha opted for a Krishna Mehta ensemble consisting of palazzo pants, a crop jacket and dupatta The dupatta pinned to the front of the jacket wasn't really my favorite part, but I would say that this is the one of the best looks she has ever put out. The hair could've been differently though to avoid looking aged. She completed her look with Estaa jewelry.
