Golden Globe Awards 2013

Heidi hasn't looked so good in quite a while. Her Alexander Vauthier was flawlessly styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Louboutin pumps and side swept golden tresses.

While the Elie Saab dress made for a lovely choice, the overdone fake tan didn't. It was even more obvious due to the white color of the dress.

Lea Michelle in Elie Saab

I am loving this Givenchy look from Amanda Seyfried, particularly because of the little pin at the neckline, which looked like a little mini bow tie to me. The dress was absolutely dreamy and she looked au naturally stunning.

Anne went with a minimalistic Chanel for the night, While it does look nice, kind of felt something was missing with this look.

Anne Hathaway in Chanel

Megan Fox flaunted her post baby figure in a form fitting nude DOlce & Gabanna dress, showing off her back tattoo. It made for a flattering but rather boring choice for the former Transformers star.

The gold lady was Emily Blunt in Michael Kors. Just love this look with the top knot and ruby red studs. Can't find any other word but, Pefect!!

Sporting an interesting color and clutch was Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta. While the hair, necklace, dress and make up were perfect, the furry clutch made for a tacky accessory.

Now we know she's sexy. We know that she got one of the best if not the best bod in the business, but it doesn't mean she has to show it every time.  The skin baring Atelier Verscae was gorgeous, but the skin show is getting to be a routine with a Halle Berry.

Halle Berry in Atelier Versace

I love the deep red Vivienne Westwood on Jennifer Garner. However, the tussled up do looked messy, perhaps something sleeker would've elevated the look more.

Tabu made her first walk down the Golden Globes red carpet in a red and gold Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla saree, The saree was elegant and definitely in theme of the event.

Known for flaunting her cleavage on the red carpet, Kate did just that in Alexander McQueen. I just love this dress with its statement gold embellishments, and the perfect flow and fit.

Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen

I must say my favorite part of Amy Adams' look was her hair but her hair wasn't one to miss either. She was practically angelic in her blush Machesa.

Julianne pulled off a risque look, by combining a fairy tale ball gown dress with punk rock hair and make up. Was this and homage to her movie Rock of Ages, I wonder. Whatever the inspiration, it worked fiercely!

Julianne Hough in Monique Lhuillier

Another best dress nominee was definitely Michelle Dokery who kept it elegant and classy in a gold  and white Alexander Vauthier dress. The stunning dress was complimented by the equally stunning waves.

Clooney was suave in his tux and with the best accessory in hand, his girlfriend Stacy Kiebler. Meanwhile, Stacy was sleek in a black Armani.

Now this is one handsome couple. Arriving arm in arm was Mr. Bond, Daniel Craig in TOm Ford and Rachel Weisz in Louis Vuitton. While I'm not usually a fan of peek a boo legs at the golden globe, this somehow works. I especially love the hair. As for Daniel Craig, who wears a tux better that Bond.

In a classic Dior silhouette, Jennifer Lawrence held her award proudly. My only problem with the dress was the fact that it was a tiny bit wrinkled at the bottom. Then again it is taffeta,so I'd give her a break.

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

Seeing Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad was no surprise, especially since one of her best red carpet looks was by Zuhair Murad. Jennifer, never afraid of showing her curves, did it yet again with a lace dress, featuring a nude lining for a barely there effect.

I just gotta say "Welcome Back, Nicole Kidman!. The fashion world have missed you" After a series o f appearance in not so impressive ensemble, she turned heads in her Alexander McQueen dress. Definitely a best dress nominee.

Nicole Kidman (in Alexander McQueen) and Keith Urban

Hayden had possibly the biggest smile on the red carpet, wearing a white Roberto Cavalli. While its a beautiful look, I wished she experimented a little. This seems like too save a bet.

Seing Adele in a black Burberry dress was no surprise and neither was her puffed up do, but then again it is her signature look.

Jessica was attracted to the pastel mint color of her Calvin Klein gown and so am I but the hair not so much. It looked like her hair was thinning.

Jessica Chastain in Calvin Klein

Possibly one of the most head turning looks of the might for Katherine McPhee's in Theyskens' Theory. She said in the interview with E! that she wanted to do sexy this year. Well, she definitely nailed it! The plunging neckline, the teasing slit and pefect hair and make-up. Va-va-voom!

Odd length is one thing I really dislike, especially at the Golden Globes red carpet.Kerry Washington's Miu Miu dress was gorgeous, with the exception of the length, which ruined the look for me. Les than an inch more length would have made this dress a winner.

Kerry Washington in Miu Miu

Marion was sweet in a vermillion number by Christian Dior, but it was just a tad bit too casual for the Globes in my opinion.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior

I can only see one thing..., well make that two things Sarah is flauntin with this Max Azria dress. She could have done so much better than this dress in my opinion.

Sarah Hyland in Max Azria

A risk taker when it comes to fashion, Sienna went for a skirt and crop top by Erdem. The mod look might not be for everyone, but she does make it work.

Sienna Miller in Erdem

Sofia was lady in black in Michael CInco. Its quite obvious she loves her curves and this was one great way to show them off.

Sofia Vergara in Michael Cinco

The New Girl was all smiles in her Oscar de la Renta, To complete her look was Louboutin clutch, Kwiat pearls and Casadei pumps. While the dress is gorgeous, I can't help but notice its very similar to Jennifer Lawrence's Dior, and she pulled it of better.

Zoey Deschannel in Oscar de la Renta

With this red hot Versace she had on, who would believe that she just delivered a baby last month. The plunging neckline, the perfect drape at the waist and the drop earrings, gorgeous!

Claire Danes in Versace

Robert Pattinson (minus a certain Kristen) was lean and mean in his signature Gucci suit. Sometimes here is nothing better than a classic black and white, especially when fitted so perfectly.

Robert Pattinson in Gucci

A few years ago, we might not have predicted that Ben Affleck would be one of the biggest stars at the Golden Globe winning Best Director and Best Picture, and look good winning them in his tux.

Ben Affleck

Hugh was all smiles in his Louie Vuitton suit, embellished with Harry Winston cuffs. The Les Miserables star looked anything but miserable in this look.

Hugh Jackman in Louis Vuitton

Another perfectly tailored tux from Tom Ford, worn by the perfectly handsome man, Bradley Cooper.

Bradley Cooper in Tom Ford

While Liev looked dashing in Calvin Klein, Naomi covered in up in Zac Posen and looked red hot.

Liev Schreiber (in Calvin Klein) and Naomi Watts (in Zac Posen)

Lucy Liu Carolina Herra was one of the most interesting choices of the evening. A side braid to compliment the floral design and she was red carpet ready!

Lucy Liu in Carolina Herrera

Tom Ford was definitely the big winner this year with the  hot leading mean choosing to wear his tux to the globes and looking like a million bucks in therm, including Leonardo DiCaprio.

Leonardo Dicaprio in Tom Ford

Not just everyone gets to call up Tom Ford and get him to design a custom gown, but Julianne are one of the luck few who gets to do exactly that. And the result, was modern and bold black and white gown. She adorned it with chandelier earrings, stack of gold bangles and cltch. To me, the bangles were better omitted, it looked a bit much with the long sleeves.

Julianne Moore in Tom Ford

While I love women's tux, the pants length and heels on this look threw me off. The plunging neckline and bling however was a win.

Amy Poehler

Seeing Taylor in a deep plum gown (minus red lips) was a pleasant surprise. What;s even better better was the minimal accessory and bare back of the dress.

Taylor Swift in DOnna Karan
