Zee Cine Awards 2013

It's red carpet time, when Bollywood biggies dress to impress. Lets see whom impressed and who left us depressed...

Deepika opted for a pearl colored Naeem Khan and no doubt, it was the right pick. The deep red lips along with the dress looked stunning!

Karisma played it safe with her dress, picking yet another black cocktail. I'm glad she experimented with the dark purple lips though. The Dior dress however wasn't one bit red-carpet worthy.

While boney Kapoor was in a grey suit, Sridevi went with a classic Sabyasachi design. Her black and white saree might not have that 'wow' factor, but it sure is lovely.

Sophie didn't dissappoint with this blue Falguni & Shane pink. The updo, make-up and Bottega Venetta clutch was perfect.

Genelia looked very much overwhelmed by her Neeta Lulla outfit. Neither the print, nor the style worked. What made it worse was her new blunt bangs do, pale make-up make up and eye bags. Even her welcoming smile couldn't save this look.

Newly wedded couple walked the carpet, with Siddharth in a classic black suit and Vidya in a traditional silk saree. The saree is somehow very 'Rekha'. She completed her look with a red bindi, red lips and sindoor. I wish her hair had more volume,, the flat top didn't suit her at all.

Yami went for a Cavalli for the awards night and looked good. She paired it with Viange jewelry and a side ponytail. Especially love the rock feel of the dress.

Sonali was in a green and gold Shantanu and Nikhil. The green saree had me floored. Simply gorgeous. Only thing I would change is her hair, perhaps into a soft updo.

This a look I'm truly dissapointed with. The usually polished Mughda went for a shapeless blue gown with a tacky embroidery applique on it. The top knot and mismatched white clutch didn't help either.

Huma was another one in Sabyasachi was Huma Qureshi. She too picked for the classic black and white.I love the outfit on her, just wished it was draped more properly. Nevertheless, she looked elegant.

Ileana was one looking gorgeous in a Dior gown. Wavy updo, drop earrings and red lips completed her look.

Esha also opted for Dior and looked every bit sexy in it. The loong sleeved,, tailored white dress made for an interesting pick and the styling with the edgy updo, red lips, Judith Leiber clutch and Viange jewelry elevated the look even more.

Malaika chose a tutu style Alice & Olivia gwn. while the dress is definitely cute, it just wasn't the right option for the event.  I do like the killer black heels and the red lips though. Also we've been seeing too many white dresses from Malaika, a time to change it up perhaps?!

Shazahn went for a purple Jatin Verma gown. Not one bit a fan of the dress. On the bright side, the styling with drop earrings and simple updo was a good call.
